Nigerian Producer Rexxie Detained in Uganda, Pleads for Help

Nigerian record producer and singer Chisom Faith, known professionally as Rexxie, has been taken into custody by Ugandan immigration authorities.

The music sensation, famed for his hit ‘KKP’, took to Instagram to share the alarming news with his followers, pleading an urgent plea for assistance.

The post reads: “I’ve been arrested at the Ugandan immigration. PLS I NEED HELP!! This is so unfair! HELP HELP HELP!!!”

The circumstances surrounding Rexxie’s arrest remain unclear, but the producer’s message showed a sense of urgency and injustice.

It’s a situation that resembles the previous detainment of Nigerian artists Omah Lay and Tems back in December 2020, who were held for flouting COVID-19 protocols during a performance in Kampala.

As the story unfolds, the music community and Rexxie’s supporters are holding their breath, hoping for a swift and fair solution to this unexpected ordeal.
