Nigerian Rapper, Empraw, makes debut with Algorhythm


Nigerian Rapper, singer and songwriter, Noel Enejo Onoja, whose stage name is Noel Empraw, has dropped a thought-provoking album titled, Algorhythm.


The rapper stated that the album, which has been in the works for while “finally made it out for fans to enjoy.”

Empraw, who currently have a management partnership with another company – Lambada Entertainment and a South African publishing company – Sheer Publishing, added that the release of his new album was the beginning of what he termed, Africa’s biggest musical export.


He therefore beckoned on fans and friends to support the success of the project.

Speaking through a telephone conversation shortly after the release of the album last Friday, the elated Empraw noted for that for long, the nation’s music industry has stereotyped some music forms, especially music from independent artistes and this he believed, has caused a lot of talented musicians to fall off the industry’s radar.

According to him, such stereotype has made the industry way too expensive for independent artists and has been discouraging a lot of them.


On the content of the album, Noel said that the album comprises songs from personal stories to songs that address anomalies of the African society such as Woké Africa Woké.

Other songs explore themes of love, happiness, and thanksgiving.
