The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) on Tuesday declared open the application portal for the Digital For All Challenge 2.0.

NITDA declared the application open in a statement, saying it believes and is driven by the fact that every Nigerian deserves the right to digital literacy and skills for the future of work.

“In line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of cultivating the critical mass digital skills that would accelerate diversification through digitalisation and innovation, the application portal for DIGITAL FOR ALL CHALLENGE 2.0 is now open for all interested participants,” NITDA wrote on X.

“The Challenge is a free digital skill-building competition and programme to increase digital literacy in Nigeria and igniting interest in obtaining digital skills and certifications using online platforms.”

NITDA whose sole responsibility is to develop programs that cater for the running of ICT related activities in Nigeria also directed applicants to register on https://digitalforall.tech4dev.com.

According to the agency, there are three categories of participants which are: the Young Learners, Youth and Civil Servants.


To participate in the Young Learners category, applicants must be between the ages of 8 and 18 years and must be students in either primary or secondary school.

“You must complete the training in your school and pass the basic digital literacy assessment to qualify for the competition. Your school and teacher must be registered on the platform,” it added.

“Note: Only teachers actively employed with a primary or secondary school is allowed to register on behalf of their school and students.”

To participate in the Youth category, applicants must be between the ages of 19 and 45 years, must complete training and receive a certificate from the challenge’s basic or advanced digital skilling program.

For the Civil Servants Category, applicants must be a civil servant, must complete training and receive a certificate from the challenge’s basic digital skilling program.
