The love-themed record, which is the lead single off his anticipated debut album, is a fine blend of stellar lyricism, groovy rhythm and masterful delivery.

An Ogun State native, Noon Dave sharpened his songwriting skills from a tender age, drawing influences from his myriad experiences with the locals.

In 2021, his grit paid off as he clinched a recording deal with Chocolate City Music, gaining mentorship and increased opportunities from the mavericks there. And with Brunch, Noon Dave shows great promise.

In Brunch, Noon Dave paints a narrative on romantic and sensual love, swinging his metaphors in short, catchy lyrics. He also subtly comments on the importance of consent, as he expresses his love interest with a tender request. And with the 90s-esque RnB treatment, Brunch soars as a satisfying bop, with groovy, feel-good melodies.

Speaking to Weekend Beats, the talented act informed that his creative direction on Brunch was inspired by the American singer, Saint JHN whose music “moved me to make a song lovers can enjoy whilst having a great time.”

Brunch is out on all digital streaming platforms.
