Founder of OBaStallionGroup, Oba Soyebo is in a celebratory mood as he announced the launch of Centre for Positive Journalism in Africa,CPJANews.
Unveiled at a virtual event yesterday, CPJANews is a platform dedicated to promoting ethical journalism and combating fake news in Africa.
Soyebo who is also the brain behind ObaStallion Media averred that the platform is carved to deliver balanced and accurate reporting, provide voices for victims of biased reporting, and uphold the principles of professional journalism.
He reiterated that the platform will remain committed to fact-based and accurate reporting, stressing that platform aimed to restore public trust in the media and foster a well-informed society.
According to the founder of Facilitor International and GetItFixed Agency,
“CPJANews launches with a mission to promote ethical journalism in Africa, with a priority for balanced and accurate reporting, while providing a platform for victims of biassed reporting to share their stories.”
He expressed willingness to partner with fellow journalists, as he also invited other media stakeholders and members of the public to join hands with him in upholding the highest standards of journalism.
