Planter Of Christ Apostolic Church (Boanerges) Worldwide, Prophet Ade Ologbonyo.

The Planter Of Christ Apostolic Church (Boanerges) Worldwide, Prophet Ade Ologbonyo, has commiserated with the families of the Onimojo of Imojo Ekiti, Oba Samuel Olatunji, and the Elesun of Esun Ekiti, Oba Babatunde Ogunsakin, who were gruesomely killed by unknown gunmen in Ekiti.

Prophet Ologbonyo noted that the gruesome act was a signal of zero concern by the perpetrators of the gruesome actions towards the tranquility of the state.

The incident is reported to have happened between Oke-Ako and Ipao-Ekiti, where the monarchs were attacked while returning from a meeting.

Similarly, the Cleric also condemned the recent kidnapping of six pupils, teachers, and a bus driver of a private school, describing it as a serious threat to the safety of citizens.

While urging the state and federal government to take drastic action in fishing out killers and bring them to justice, he called on security agents in the state to intensify efforts to make sure the innocent kids are released from kidnappers’ den.

“I have alerted the governments of  Ekiti and Ondo States some years back, as revealed by the Holy Spirit, that the forests in these two states have been invaded and there was the need to flush out  these criminal elements. This  is the time for action. I dont believe in talking after the did has been done, we need to be proactive.  We need more police presence in Ekiti and the call for the establishment of State Policing should be sustained.

“In the interim, let’s us have more paramilitary personnel to secure our various  communities in Ekiti.

“Let’s  encourage each community to scale up local intelligence gathering by forming mini security Committee at every quarters. This committee should ensure that they monitor what is going on around  them and report any strange face or movement around them.

“Again this is the time to collaborate with the Governor and our traditional Rulers. Curbing insecurity requires a collective effort, insecurity is not a challenge that affects only a section of the society, but everywhere. It wont be out of place for each community to contribute money and buy CCTV camera.  The era of waiting for government is over. Let’s take our destinies in our hands.

“Government too must expedite action in procuring drone for surveillance. Ekiti is not too big, only one drone can survey the whole of Ekiti in less that one hour. We have different kinds of drones, we have drones that can record voices and those that can attack.

“Community security meetings should be more regular now and every sudpicious movements must be reported to the appropriate authorities.

“It saddens my heart when I heard about the death of our traditional rulers.

“It is indeed with a heart full of sadness that I am writing this to commiserate with the families of the deceased.”

Prophet Ologbonyo empathized with the people of the state over the gruesome murder of two Ekiti traditional rulers by suspected kidnappers.

In a press statement made available to journalists, in Ado Ekiti, the Cleric also decried the abduction of six pupils and three teachers by kidnappers at Eporo Ekiti, lamenting that Ekiti hitherto a peaceful state has become a haven for kidnappers, bandits, and herdsmen to operate freely.

“How do you expect business to boom or investors to come to a state where life is not secured? This government must do something urgently,” he said.

The Clergy charged the security outfits to form a strong network to protect the people from untimely death and recurrent kidnapping and killings along the Ipao-Oke Ako-Irele road.

Ologbonyo said “I felt so sad that two eminent monarchs could be killed in such a gruesome manner. This is a sign of failure of governance at both state and federal levels and it is a wake-up call to all of us.”
