Olukoya urges Christians to embrace culture of thanksgiving

The General Overseer (GO), Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries (MFM), Dr. Daniel Olukoya, has urged Christians to continually embrace the culture of gratitude and thanksgiving, irrespective of their current challenges.

Olukoya, who gave the charge, yesterday, while speaking at a prayer breakfast to commemorate 40th anniversary of Diya Fatimilehin & Co in Lagos, said that when the situation is good or looks bleak, one must praise God.

He said: “Paul and Silas were locked up in jail but they started praising God and the praises released earthquake of deliverance. When you have prayed and fasted and nothing happens, then start praising God. Praise God for yesterday, today and your future.”

“In spite of devouring lion, we are alive. When you are a baby, it’s likely they gave you the wrong vaccination, yet you survived. It’s likely you jumped down at the back of your mother, yet, you survived. You wake up and dress yourself and able to get out. Many travelled the same road you plied and didn’t survive, yet you survived.”
