On the 18th of April, 2024, the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), Oyo State Chapter alongside other South-Western States held closely contested elections in Ibadan which were overseen by the Real Estate Developers Electoral Committee(REDECO).
After a challenging race among strong candidates in the Southwest zone, Amb. Oluwaseun Owoseni of Kemsan Acres Global Limited emerged victorious. Owoseni is renowned for his extensive experience in Real Estate and a visionary approach to leadership. Distinguished members of the association in recognition of his sterling qualities decided to trust him with the Vice Chairman role.
In his acceptance remarks, Owoseni thanked REDAN members for their support. He outlined numerous plans to drive growth, innovation, and sustainable development.
He emphasised on how collaboration will be key to addressing industry challenges and unlocking potential.
Owoseni also pledged to promote transparency, professionalism and ethics amongst Developers and Practitioners. Facilitate an environment of integrity and accountability to build needed trust and credibility within all stakeholders involved.
The current REDAN Oyo State Chairman, Dr. Muibi Kehinde Hammed, congratulated Owoseni. He expressed confidence that Amb. Owoseni as the Vice-Chairman alongside other Executives will take the chapter to new heights.
Owoseni commended the peaceful election process. He urged members to rally behind the new leadership in achieving REDAN’s objectives. Amb. Oluwaseun Owoseni’s election signals a dynamic, progressive era for Real Estate development in Oyo State and beyond.
