Omolola bags Yoruba Study Group’s Golden Leadership Excellence award

To celebrate excellence and quality leadership, the Yoruba Study Group has presented the Golden Leadership Excellence Award to the Chief Medical Director(CMD), St. Raphael Hospital LTD, Dr. Anthony Adelanke Omolola, as the Most Outstanding Physician and Distinguished Personality of the year 2022/2023.


Speaking at the event in Lagos, President, Yoruba Study Group, Adeosun Olabanji Williams, said Omolola has contributed immeasurably towards the advancement of the medical profession and quality healthcare delivery in Nigeria with greater efficiency, proficiency and dedication.

He said: “Omolola records of continuous excellence in quality health delivery, has not only seen St. Raphael Hospital developed to a reputable and outstanding hospital, but it has equally positioned the CMD as a source of great inspiration to millions of Nigeria youth. He is a thorough breed ‘Omoluabi’ coupled with his quality leadership and administrative competence, the feat he has maintained over the years with untainted and unblemished records.

“For decades, Omolola has demonstrated over the years some rare qualities which has towered him above his peers. He is a man of great intellectual capacity, highly matured, experienced, efficient, cerebral and connected. No wonder his track records in medical profession and quality healthcare delivery has made St. Raphael Hospital to remain one of the best hospitals in the country.


“Omolola connotes different things to different people. To the medical profession, he is an outstanding physician and a leading light. To the Lagosians , he is an asset. To the youth, he is a reputable mentor and a role model. To humanity, he is rare breed and to the Yoruba race, he is an ‘Omoluabi Akoni O’dua.”

Yoruba Study Group is a coalition of young professionals and politically conscious youths and some notable elders of Yoruba origin.

The Group was founded in 2019 with a broad mission to create a formidable platform formidable platform for coordination of awareness, advocacy and historical research for improved leadership, open governance and innovative development of Yoruba land as well as to protect and project its cultural heritage.
