The All Progressives Congress (APC) has scheduled the governorship primary election in Ondo State for April 25, 2024.
The ruling party in its timetable and schedule of activities pegged the price for the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms at N10m and N40m respectively
Ahead of the November 16, 2024 gubernatorial election in Ondo State as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), APC’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaimon Argungu in a statement said the sale of nominations, expression of interest and delegates forms for contestants will begin on April 3 while it will end on April 10, 2024.
“The last day for the submission of completed Governorship Nomination forms, Expression of Interest forms, accompanying documents and submission of Delegate forms is April 12,” added Argungu.
According to the party schedule, applicants will be screened on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20 when the publication of screening results will be out.
Argungu added that female aspirants and persons living with disabilities are to pay for Expression of Interest while the Nomination Form is free.
“Youths from 25 to 40 years are to purchase Expression of Interest forms with a 50% discount on Nomination Forms,” Argungu said.
“Expression of Interest forms and Nomination forms will be available for purchase at the Directorate of Organization at the APC Natonal Headquarters in Abuja.”
