Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has begun engagement tour of all local councils in the state ahead of the July 16 governorship election.
Oyetola and his team stormed Irewole, Isokan and Ayedaade councils, yesterday, in the tour tagged ‘Have You in Mind Always’ amid fanfare and jubilation by the party’s supporters.
The Guardian gathered that the tour would afford the governor, who is eyeing a second term in office, the opportunity to interact with the people and to present his first term report card to them for scrutiny.
The governor visited traditional rulers of the towns he toured before addressing residents, who had gathered to welcome him.
Meanwhile, Oyetola has formally received the expression of intention and nomination forms earlier obtained in Abuja on his behalf by some friends, political associates and well-wishers.
