The award ceremony did not hold last year due to the lockdown occasioned by COVID-19, but Obazele assured that this year’s edition would hold under strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols.

The last time LNA held, it attracted high profile guests including the Minister of State, Budget and National Planning Prince Clem Agba, Senator Dino Melaye, Chief Zeb Ejiro and the General Overseer of the Revival Assembly Apostle Anselem Madubuko and his wife.

Long-standing practitioners such as Prince Jide Kosoko, Segun Arinze, Francis Duru, Hilda Dokubo, Jonathan Gbemutor and Patrick Doyle were honoured at the well-attended award ceremony where products of the two weeks film training workshop organized by LNA and supported by Ecobank were presented with their certificates. The LNA was instituted in 2012 to recognize the contributions of practitioners who contributed to birthing the Nollywood industry.
