Deputy National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Setonji Koshoedo.

Noting that politics without probity is empty, he said it is not only immoral for him to leave the party that has not only contributed immensely to his political career.

Averring that those defecting from the Peoples Democratic Party can only be those in politics for selfish reasons, Koshoedo said his politics has never been for personal aggrandisement.

He said there is no reason for him to leave the party for APC that has just manipulated the populace to retain power.

Rather than quitting, he said he is currently in very far-reaching consultations and meetings across the state with members of the PDP on steps towards rebuilding and repositioning the party for a successful comeback in future elections.

While assuring his colleagues in the party, friends and well-wishers that the trust and confidence they have reposed in him will not be betrayed for a mess of porridge, he urged members of the Peoples Democratic Party home and abroad to discountenance the unfounded rumour and rest assured that the process of recovering the Party that has commenced will soon reach them.
