Police confirms abduction of company MD, three Lebanese in Lagos

Kidnappers has abducted the Managing Director of Fouani Company on Friday with three Lebanese nationals.


The abduction occurred when the group was travelling by boat from Apapa to Victoria Island.

According to sources, the victims were taken around Falomo Bridge while en route from Apapa to Victoria Island.

The kidnappers have reportedly demanded a ransom of $1.5 million.


Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident, stating that the police are investigating the matter.

“Yes, it is true. We got the report and we are looking into it. Please, I’m not obliged to state more than that,” Hundeyin said.

However, Hundeyin declined to disclose the names of the abducted individuals, stating, “I’m not obliged to state the names, when, where and how it happened for now but we are looking into it.”
