Ogun-East Assembly backs Senator Adeola’s 2027 ambition

Head of 2027 general election, The Ogun-East Assembly for Yayi, a political group, has thrown their weight behind President Bola Tinubu for a second term and Senator Olamilekan Solomon Adeola’s governorship ambition.

The endorsement took place on Sunday at a grand celebration held at Omo-Ilu Open Ground, Ijebu-Igbo, to mark Senator Adeola’s 56th birthday and to formally declare support for his governorship ambition.

The Convener of the Ogun East Assembly Political Family, Hon. Samuel Adejare, described Senator Adeola as a political leader whose influence cuts across divides, having gone through political tutelage under President Bola Tinubu, who remains a great mentor to both of them.

He commended Senator Adeola’s dedication to the people of Ogun State and Nigeria, stating that his achievements have earned him widespread admiration:

“Senator Adeola’s journey is a shining testament to his unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Ogun West in particular, and Ogun State in general. His tireless efforts have empowered countless people, leaving a lasting impact and an indelible mark on our society.”

He added that the Senator’s leadership is characterized by integrity, vision, and compassion, inspiring a new generation of leaders and shaping the future of the nation.
Also speaking at the event, the former Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District, Gbenga Kaka, congratulated Senator Adeola on his 56th birthday and prayed for greater successes in his political and personal life.

“Fifty-six years on earth is no small feat. Many of his contemporaries are no longer with us. We are happy that he is alive and well, and we rejoice with him and his followers in the Ogun-East Assembly,” Senator Kaka said.

Former member of the House of Representatives, Remo Federal Constituency, Hon. Taofeek Buraimo, eulogized Senator Adeola for demonstrating commitment to the growth and development of the nation, stating that his tireless efforts to improve the lives of Nigerians, particularly in Ogun State, have earned him widespread encomium, recognition, and admiration.

The well-organized event, which drew a mammoth crowd, was attended by top members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, including Senator Lekan Mustapha, Senator Gbenga Kaka, Hon. Femi Ogunbanwo (Omo-Iwa), and Hon. Funmi Afuwape (Ogun State Commissioner for Special Duties).

Others were Hon. Abudu Balogun, Hon. Otun (Kope), Hon. Olaseni Koiki (DG, Caucus 7202), Hon. Segun Kaka (Member, Ogun State House of Assembly), Hon. Razaq Daddah (Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs), Dr. Giwa Niyi Osoba, Otunba Adewale Oshinubi (Chairman, Wesco Lottery and Bet), Hon. Olusegun Ogunleye (former chairman, Ikenne Local Govt), Ms. Bukky Onabanjo, Hon. Onamusi, Hon. Tele Ogunjobi, and Prince Akin Onalaja among others.
