Ondo Election: DSS arrests suspected vote buyer with bags of money
Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have arrested a suspected vote buyer during the ongoing Ondo State Governorship election on Saturday.
In a video cited by our correspondent, the suspect, a male apparently in his 40s, was stopped by the DSS operatives while driving a Toyota Camry car.
The operatives then conducted a search on his vehicle and found two bags of money and a cutlass in the trunk of his car.
The DSS then whisked the suspect away while he tried to deny knowledge of the items found.
The DSS operatives were part of security agents deployed in Ondo to ensure a smooth election.
