In a celebration of horological artistry and refined taste, Pololuxury together with longstanding partner, Bovet 1822, hosted esteemed Bovet collectors to an exclusive dinner in Lagos.

Against the backdrop of sophistication and luxury, the event unfolded as an enchanting evening, seamlessly blending culinary excellence with a showcase of the latest masterpieces from Bovet.

Headlining the event was the global Vice President of Bovet 1822, Audrey Raffy, who flew in to grace the occasion.

The venue, carefully selected for its ambiance and exclusivity as a status symbol, set the stage for an opulent affair as the guests mingled in an atmosphere of understated glamour.

The Managing Director of Polo Limited, John Obayuwana, spoke about the heritage of the Polo brand and the unique bond that binds the brand with Bovet.

“Bovet 1822 stands in a class of its own with over 2 centuries of timeless art and engineering brilliance. This is evident in every piece designed from the brand to date. For many years, Polo has represented Bovet 1822 in West Africa. And we are very proud to be expanding the Rolex presence in the country, upholding the highest standards of quality and service that are integral to both the brand and our own business,” he said.

There was also a focus on the evening’s brightest stars with keen interest particularly given to the Bovet Amadeo Fleurier Virtuoso V Jumping Hours – a piece that could be transformed from a wristwatch to a pocket watch or even a table clock.

From the intricately detailed dials of the Guillochés to the miniature artistry of the hand-painting, each watch told a tale of timeless grace and precision. With innovation and consistency as its watchword, Bovet continues to astound the world of watchmaking with decorative arts and savoir-faire – qualities that got it the best astronomical timepiece award in 2023 at le Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG).

Echoes of laughter and the sparkle of Bovet timepieces lingered as the night drew to a close. Pololuxury’s soirée for Bovet collectors proved to be more than an event – it was a symphony of taste, refinement and a celebration of the enduring allure of timeless craftsmanship.
