Popular artist Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, faced a physical assault in his home on Monday morning.
The incident unfolded after Portable failed to fulfill a pre-paid performance.
Portable took to Instagram to share a video of the confrontation, revealing a heated argument between him and a group of men who accused him of neglecting his commitment to perform at a paid gig.
In the videos, Portable defended himself, claiming that the organizers did not meet some terms of their agreement. He further stated that the altercation arose because he had raised his performance fees.

“They want to use me to shine, they want to fight their helper. If it’s easy, why didn’t they feature Wizkid or Davido?” Portable remarked in a subsequent video.
He continued; They were like 30 or 40 men, I no fit count but them run as my manager come with the police.”
The artist reported that approximately 30 to 40 men were involved in the incident, and they fled when his manager arrived with the police. Portable mentioned suffering a broken leg during the attack, requiring hospital treatment.
