Commenting on the inspiration behind the track, Radar X said; “‘Pretty Babes,’ the first single of the project, was inspired by Lauryn Hill. The lyrics express the idea that women are beautiful just the way they are.”

Oyemike Achi, known by his artistic identity Radar X, is a 27-year-old musician hailing from Delta State and shaped by the vibrant musical landscape of Niger State. Growing up surrounded by the diverse sounds echoing through his neighbourhood and influenced by his father’s background as a hype man, Radar X was immersed in a wide range of musical genres, from the pulsating rhythms of Fela Kuti to the timeless sounds of Bob Marley. His musical journey began during secondary school, where he engaged in freestyling and spontaneous beats with classmates, eventually leading to the recording of his first song in 2012, initially rooted in rap and battle rap.
