England and former Tottenham footballer Dele Alli has recently opened up about his childhood molestation and how he finally came out of rehab after three weeks


Alli revealed to a former Man United player, Gary Neville, who is currently a sports pundit, about his trauma while growing up and how the molestation by his mother’s friend affected him and his career.

Something he believed he shouldn’t have spoken about so soon Alli said, “If I’m being honest, I probably wouldn’t have wanted to talk about it this soon, I think maybe give it a little bit more time … I maybe could have done with a little bit more time in terms of when I was talking about it, but unfortunately, the way the world is now, you know the tabloids they found out and they were calling my team a lot and they were telling that they knew where I was and stuff.”

In reaction to the whole issue here is how fans have reacted to the issue; his former club Everton posted this on its Twitter page; In a statement, Everton said it had been supporting “Dele in both his return to fitness and overcoming the personal challenges highlighted in his interview with The Overlap.”
“Everyone at Everton respects and applauds Dele’s bravery to speak about the difficulties he has faced, as well as seek the help required,” Everton added.

To Piers Morgan, “Astoundingly powerful, moving and brutally honest interview which has made me – and I’m sure many others – completely change my view of Dele Alli. Wish him well with his recovery”

And we’ve all judged him without knowing what he’s been going through. I wish him all the best
