Relations, friends mourn Tijjani Babangida’s brother, Ibrahim’s death

Relations and friends have continued to troop to the home of ex-Super Eagles player, Tijjani Babangida, who lost his brother, Ibrahim in a ghastly motor accident last week.

The late Ibrahim Babangida, who was a former Under-17, Golden Eaglet player, was buried on Friday, in Kaduna.

Besides, one of the family members, an Immigration Officer, Sadiq Abubakar, the Jarumin Keffi, expressed deep condolences to the family, particularly his wife.

He said: “Ibrahim was more than just a family member, he was a great strategist, a mediator, and a peacemaker. His soft-spoken nature and wisdom always helped resolve family disagreements and brought us closer together.”

With profound emotions, and finding it difficult to utter his words, Abubakar said he had the privilege of working with Ibrahim, saying, “I have lost an adviser and confidant. I have lost a friend, an in-law, and a respected family member who was the confidant of the entire family. His passing has left a huge void in our family, and I am still trying to come to terms with the loss,” he added.
