Workers at the secretariat, including journalists, abandoned their offices about 5.10 p.m. when it was rumoured that some of the rooms in the building were caving in.
However, security personnel and several bystanders heaved a sigh of relief, as nothing untoward occurred to the building as at 7.45 p.m. yesterday.
