In a rare occurrence, prominent Christian Gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, has become the latest celebrity to publicly admit and apologise for infidelity to their spouse, as he broke news on his entanglement with an American lady identified as ‘African Doll.’
The lady, who also claims to be a fan of the Delta indigene, has also publicly admitted to the claim, revealing that she is already allegedly pregnant for the singer.
As things get messier, the singer has been under heavy criticism from colleagues in both the gospel music space, as well as the secular music industry. His forthcoming appearance at the Tope Alabi Praise The Almighty concert next month, appears to also be at risk, as other show organisers might attempt to emulate the Dunamis International Gospel Centre who removed the artiste from their roster of artistes to perform at their next concert on Friday.
Meanwhile, the lady in question has also vowed that she will keep the baby, as “she doesn’t believe in abortions.” Sammie Okposo has since deleted his public apology, following the backlash, and has been silent about African Doll’s allegations of him insisting she aborts the pregnancy.
