Samson Olatunde unveils ‘Knowledge Digest Africa Magazine

Speaking at the one-week Knowledge Digest Africa week to celebrate one year Anniversary of the organization, Olatunde officially unveiled the ‘Knowledge Digest Africa Magazine’ and ‘Timeless Conversation with Samson Olatunde’ which rounded up with the ‘Digital wealth creation summit’ held in the University of Lagos as part of its career week; urged Nigerian and Africa youths to learn how to monetise their talents digitally to attract foreign investors.

The Convener, Samson Olatunde, said the need for Nigerian and Africa youths to learn how to monetise their talents in the digital age is imperative considering the enormous opportunities available. He advocated that as part of his initiative to empower young Africans, the conversation is a series of talk shows that attract captains of industries who have succeeded in relevant industries.

For this year, he opined that each personality invited was designed to help young Nigerians and Africans in the grass root like university community and who’s story of success they can relate to as a youth inspiring to have success in life.


According to him, “As an individual, one of the many things I learnt early on is the fact that the world is filled with several possibilities and only the focused and determined often unlock the extraordinary. The need to do the extra has always been top priority for me and as a Digital Entrepreneur, Seasoned Digital Marketing. Media and Growth Strategist, looking back, the result speaks for itself.

‘Today’s youth must understand how to monetise their talent and use it to create wealth and thereby reduce unemployment in the continent’. That is why today I have offered a mentorship programme via Knowledge Digest Africa to some of the Participants at the programme. With this opportunity I will teach them several ways on how they can maximise the internet to create wealth.”

On why the initiative was called ‘Timeless Conversation with Samson Olatunde’, he stressed that it was a series of thought-provoking sessions that ask questions from captains of industries and Knowledge Expert who are though leaders and role models across all sectors on their success, failures and lessons to be learnt.


One of the guests at the unveiling of Timeless Conversation with Samson Olatunde was a Nigerian stand-up comedian and singer, Otolorin Kehinde Peter aka. Kenny Blaq

For Kenny Blaq, who recently signed a contract with Netflix, reiterated the need for youths to learn how to embrace their innate abilities and run with it while pursuing more information on the career path.

“I am a success story today because I believed in myself firstly, and then I started seeking knowledge everywhere concerning my abilities. He said, when I started my parents never supported me, but when I was able to convince them by becoming a success story then their fears fizzled away.”

The event, which saw the launch of the maiden edition of Knowledge Digest Africa Magazine, with over 175 pages and curated over 120 leaders in the Africa across all sectors.

The digital magazine, Olatunde, acknowledged that it provides professionals and business leaders a platform to draw a pool of information to generate massive market trends and bridge business resilience gaps in Africa.

He explained that the need to help individuals understand the place of knowledge in personal, industrial, organizational, and even systemic processes led to the birth of ‘Knowledge Digest Africa.’


According to him, “As we all know, Africa is a continent blessed with an abundance of natural resources, a rich cultural heritage, and a diverse population. Yet, for too long, our continent has faced significant challenges that have hindered its progress and held it back from achieving its full potential.”

However, he noted that the tide was turning and “we are witnessing a renewed commitment towards harnessing the power of knowledge and innovation to transform our continent, with Knowledge Digest Africa being at the forefront of this movement.

It is an established fact that the Human behaviour flows from three main sources: desire, emotion, and knowledge. Knowledge however is one of the most powerful resources of man designed to be improved, challenged, and increased constantly.
