Sanwo-Olu, Oba of Oniru at official launch of Mami Chula Resort

Mami Chula Resort, recently hosted notable dignitaries and patrons at its official launch held at its impressive edifice situated in Oniru, Victoria Island.

The Mami Chula Resort which consists of a restaurant, Honey Night Club and Cielo Rooftop is a breath of fresh air in the Lagosian nightlife experience, as the ceremony is a step in its bid to create a unique luxury nightlife experience.


Speaking at the commissioning of the resort, Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu ably represented by the Commissioner of Arts and Tourism in Lagos State, Toke Benson said the official launch of Mami Chula exemplified his administration’s ambitions to enact the reforms in the Lagosian tourism and entertainment scene.

“The establishment of Mami Chula Beach Lifestyle Center is coming at a time when we are stepping up our commitment towards optimising the huge potentials in the tourism and entertainment sector to drive socio economic growth; and we are willing and ready to partner with relevant stakeholders to achieve this aim.

“This facility prioritizes responsible practices, ensuring the preservation of our natural coastal beauty for future generations, and provides a world-class experience, that will contribute to Lagos standing as a top tourist destination,” he added.

Oba of Oniru, Abdulwasiu Lawal represented by Otunba of Ilase, Chief Olumide Oniru said Mami Chula would be contributing a massive quota to the economic growth of Oniru and Lagos State.

“Mami Chula is a new addition to the Lagos State entertainment scene. It is in line with the tourism agenda of the state Government. It is a fantastic first class edifice, which I’m sure will contribute tremendously to the economy of Oniru, Victoria Island and Lagos State as a whole.

“We’re very proud to have this level of investment in Oniru kingdom as it is improving the standards internationally and we are proud of that.”.

The Chief Executive Officer of Mami Chula, Bolaji Ariyoh, stated that it was a privilege to pivot such an amazing project, adding that Mami Chula is committed to establishing itself as a prime and upscale nightlife brand both home and abroad.
