In expression of thanksgiving to God, Nigeria’s former Ambassador to Italy, Mfawa Omini Abam, and wife, Mrs. Ifeoma Uzoamaka Abam, have rebuilt the church auditorium of the Apostolic Church of Nigeria, Lewankom Assembly, Ijom District, Central Field, Ugep, Cross River State.
The couple is thanking God for a successful diplomatic career that spans over 30 years and the general wellbeing of the family. In a statement signed on behalf of the family by Dr. Koms Abam and Rev. (Mrs.) Obal Abam Awara, the family said they decided to rebuild the church auditorium, which served as the local assembly of his late parents until their passage, when they discovered that it was fast dilapidating.
“That is why we are dedicating it to the memory of the ambassador’s late parents, Elder Usani Omini Abam (JP) and Deaconess Enoh Onen Abam (JP),” they said.
They disclosed that the official dedication and thanksgiving of the rebuilt church auditorium would be held on Sunday, August 24 at 10am in the church premises, calling on friends and associates to grant them the honour of their presence at the ceremony.
