Gtext marks 10 years of Real Estate excellence, unveils future plans

Having established itself as a key player in the real estate industry, with a presence in several countries, including Nigeria, the UK, the US, and Dubai, Gtext Homes and Gtext Lands, subsidiaries under Gtext Holdings in a grand celebration marked a significant milestone, their 10th anniversary in Lagos recently.

The event themed, ‘Built to Last: The Road to 2030 – Real Estate Trends that will Shape the Next Decade’ brought together notable dignitaries from all walks of life including sector stakeholders.

Founded by Dr. Stephen Akintayo, Gtext Holdings’ journey began 17 years ago as a digital marketing firm, and 10 years ago, it ventured into real estate in partnership with a student who had 250 acres of land in Ikorodu.

“We thank God for his faithfulness. We started with a dream, and today, we’ve achieved more than we ever thought possible. We were literally pointing at least three kilometers away into the waters to be telling customers where our land will start from. And some people still believed in us,” Akintayo recalled.

Notably, the company has grown significantly over the years, with over 30 locations in Nigeria and a presence in several countries. Dr. Akintayo attributed the company’s success to its ability to adapt and innovate. “We’re heavily diversifying into different sectors, including housing, education, healthcare, and retail. Our goal is to build 25,000 houses in Africa in the next 10 years”, he added.

The Group Chief Operating Officer of Gtext Holdings Bukola Lukan, highlighted the importance of teamwork and customer relationships. As a token of appreciation, the 10th anniversary celebration also featured prizes for customers, including laptops, iPhones, deep freezers, Access to Stephen Akintayo University (SAU), expense-paid trips to notable destinations amongst others.

Also present at the event were Ruggedman, Simi Jay, and EmmaOMG, who led two different sessions of praise.
