Just like a Lagos party, Nigerians recently, in their hundreds, trooped out for the blockbuster movie, Deadpool and Wolverine, which premiered at the FilmHouse Lekki, Lagos
In Deadpool and Wolverine, the humorous Deadpool teams up with the tenacious Wolverine for a mission that will take them to the edge of their limits. Together, they face a new threat that challenges their abilities and forces them to confront their past.
To usher in this movie, Filmhouse IMAX featured a black carpet event and a first look at the year’s most thrilling cinematic experience. The event also featured an exuberant splash of the dynamic duo’s colours; red (Deadpool) and yellow (Wolverine).
Speaking with The Guardian on the movie and what Nigeria should be expecting, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Filmhouse, Mojisola Oladapo, said: “Deadpool and Wolverine is one of the biggest movies of the year. Nigerians should be expecting a lot of fun. Wolverine came out in 2009, Deadpool came out in 2016 and it was amazing.
Deadpool and Wolverine is a dedication to art and it’s amazing to see.”
