Rapper, Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, known professionally as Odumodublvck, is celebrating a major milestone, as his latest album, The Machine Is Coming, has taken the top spot on Apple Music Nigeria’s album chart.

Right behind him is fellow rapper Erhiga Agarivbie, better known as Erigga, with his project, G.O.A.T (Greatest of All Time), claiming the second spot. Celebrating the victory, the member of the hip-hop collective Anti World Gangstars and Okpu Agu wearing artiste sent a powerful message about hip-hop unity.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the Eziokwu hit maker expressed his admiration for the contributions of Erigga to hip-hop, emphasising the importance of legacy over competition. “Hip hop legacy I no mind make you over me for the sake of this legacy. Your album na my album. stream G.O.A.T nowwwww,” he posted.

The message was accompanied by a screenshot of the chart rankings, reinforcing the strong impact both albums are having on the Nigerian hip-hop scene. This powerful message of hip-hop unity is a testament to the growing influence of Nigerian rap on the global music scene.
