Acknowledging his silence for a while, the Booty Bounce singer said he is ready to take Afrobeats to the next level, boasting that without him, the genre is not worth listening to. “The lion cannot miss its hunt. On my shoulder, I will carry the Afrobeats to the next level and I will dominate. The difference is simply because I am different and don’t follow rules. Rules are for regular artistes,” he enthused.
The Isoko, Delta State native, first caught attention of music lovers in 2013 with his chart-topping hit, Rihanna. He began his musical journey in 2009, and he has collaborated with some of the industry’s finest producers, including Kiddominant, Del B and Dokta Frabz.
One of Orezi’s most remarkable traits is his ability to adapt to changing musical trends while staying relevant. His music highlights dancehall’s notable influence on Afrobeats, as his distinctive blend of the genres – afrobeats, dancehall and reggae – influences his sound and provides infectious rhythms, catchy hooks, and the lyrics resonate with listeners, making it impossible to resist dancing to his tunes.
