It will, no doubt, be an electrifying journey filled with pulsating Afrobeat rhythms and legendary live performances as Seun Kuti and Egypt 80 have released the itinerary for their highly anticipated North American tour for 2024 as powered by Django Music.
  
It’s no gain saying that Seun through his music has made his mark as an active voice of the people and a politically conscious activist. As the ‘Prince of Afrobeats’, taking after his father, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, the legendary king of Afrobeat, the tour promises to captivate audiences with infectious energy and renowned stage presence.
  
According to the released itinerary, the first port of call is Burlington, VT – Burlington Discover Jazz Festival – June 8. Next is Portland, ME – Portland House of Music – June 9, followed by Pembroke, MA – Soundcheck Studios – June 11, and Bridgeport, CT – Park City Music Hall – June 12.
 
On June 14, the Music Box, San Diego, CA will come alive as the tour caravan will berth at the centre. Next is Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival in Los Angeles, CA on June 16, then North Adams, MA – Mass on July 12; Brooklyn, NY – Bric Celebrate Brooklyn on July 13, then Chicago, IL – Millennium Park Summer Music Series – July 15.
  
The train will move to Budweiser Stage in Toronto, on July 17, make a stop at the SFJAZZ Center Miner Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on July 18 and 19. From there it moves to Denver, CO – Levitt Pavillion on July 20; Cuyahoga Falls, OH – Blossom Music Center on July 22; Detroit, MI – The Shelter on July 23; Kalamazoo, MI – Bell’s Eccentric Café, July 24; Minneapolis, MN – Fine Line on July 26 and Nelsonville, OH – Nelsonville Music Festival on July 28.
  
On June 14 in San Diego (Music Box) and June 16 in Los Angeles (Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival), Seun Kuti will join the iconic Soul Rebels as a guest, while on July 17 in Toronto (Budweiser Stage) and July 22 in Cuyahoga Falls (Blossom Music Center), he will alongside the Egypt 80 make special appearances as opening acts for the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
