Police have reported shootings taken place at Drake ‘Bridle Path’ home, amidst an ongoing feud with Lamar
Reports gathered that the shootings took place around 2 am on Tuesday, with a man alleged to be Drake’s bodyguard currently hospitalized.
Although police have said the Canadian rapper is not the person taken to the hospital.
“We are in contact with [Drake’s] team and they are cooperating,”. Inspector Paul Krawczyk of the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force told reporters on Tuesday morning.
The front door to his home was taped off following the shooting last night. The suspect fled in a vehicle with no identification of who the person was.
The police are investigating the incident, while the injured have been taken to the hospital.
Some fans believed it could be a result of the ongoing feud between him and Kendrick Lamar.

Drake and Lamar have been engaged in some musical feud in recent times with both releasing diss tracks about each other.
Contents revealed in the various tracks have been troubling. Ranging from everything from below-the-belt jabs about one another’s physiques to serious allegations about their personal lives.
The latest is Drake’s diss track labelled “Family Matters” where he talked about Lamar’s family and also alleged one of his children doesn’t belong to him.

Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow told reporters she had been briefed by police about the shooting but declined to provide details.
“Any shooting is not welcome in this city and I hope the police will find the people that are violating the law and catch them,” she said.
