Slain OAU student, Adegoke, buried amid tears in Oyo

The remains of Timothy Adegoke, the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife, who was killed, while lodging in Hilton Hotel and Resort in the ancient town, were interred, yesterday, in his home town, Eruwa, Oyo State.

Hundreds of wailing youths ushered in late accountant, who was brought to the Eruwa Town Hall, in a white casket.

The 37-year-old MBA student was buried beside the house he built for his parents in Eruwa Town, Ibarapa East Local Council of Oyo State.

His family members and friends wept profusely during the funeral service presided by the Founder of Celestial Deliverance Church of Christ, Revd. Michael Hungbenu.

The widow, Bolatito, was inconsolable. She refused to leave the graveside despite persuasion.

Mrs. Adegoke rained curses on her husband’s killers.

Meanwhile, Service of Tributes was earlier held at Eruwa Town Hall, where hundreds of youths, members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and OAU students, among others had gathered to pay glowing tributes to him while his kinsmen recalled his good deeds.
