CIDC convenes exclusive Abuja roundtable on citizenship by investment during historic Afro-Caribbean summit

The Caribbean Infrastructure Development Corporation (CIDC), the Approved Public Benefactor for the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport Expansion Project in St. Kitts & Nevis, hosted an exclusive Global Citizenship Roundtable on March 27, 2025, in Abuja, Nigeria. The private roundtable discussion brought together a select group of discerning investors and Citizenship by Investment (CBI) advisors for a focused dialogue with His Excellency Calvin St. Juste, Executive Chairman of the Board of Governors for the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit.

The roundtable was held in parallel with the Afro-Caribbean Investment Summit, a landmark event under the theme “Bridging Continents: Africa and the Caribbean, a Partnership for Prosperity.”

In his keynote address at the Summit, Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Michael Drew emphasized the enduring connection between the two regions, stating:

“Africa is not a distant relative to the Caribbean, it is our mother and today we are returning with purpose, with vision and with unwavering belief.”

The roundtable discussion focused on St. Kitts & Nevis’ world-leading Citizenship by Investment Programme and CIDC’s flagship Public Benefit Project: the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport Expansion. This transformative project will enhance global air connectivity and position St. Kitts and Nevis as a strategic hub in the Caribbean, further aligning with the Summit’s vision of bridging continents through innovation, infrastructure, and investment.

His Excellency Calvin St. Juste emphasized that St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship offers a gateway to global freedom, secure wealth diversification, and a lasting legacy. With a streamlined 10-week application process and visa-free access to over 160 countries, Nigerian investors gain powerful advantages: international mobility, tax efficiency, family security, and access to world-class education, all through a government-backed, impact-driven investment in the future.

As the Approved Public Benefactor for the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport Expansion Project, CIDC offers eligible investors a trusted, government-backed pathway to second citizenship while connecting personal opportunity with long-term national transformation.

With 10-week application processing, no personal income tax, and visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to over 160 countries globally, St. Kitts & Nevis citizenship is increasingly viewed by Nigerian investors as a powerful tool for global opportunity, generational planning, and financial resilience.

“Nigerian investors recognize the strategic value of second citizenship in today’s interconnected world for themselves and the freedom second citizenship can offer their families,” said Benjamin Exeter, CIDC Global Sales and Marketing Director.

He further noted, “CIDC’s Public Benefit Option provides not just mobility and security, but the opportunity to participate in a legacy infrastructure project with lasting impact.”

St. Kitts and Nevis also offers a stable, business-friendly environment — making it an attractive base for global entrepreneurs and families seeking a secure, opportunity-rich lifestyle.

The Abuja roundtable offered a discreet forum for sharing insights and outlining how CIDC’s Public Benefit Option aligns with the aspirations of Nigeria’s global investor class.
