Who wins the men and women’s singles titles at the 42nd CBN Senior Tennis Championship? That is the question four players, Emmanuel Michael, Prosper Okonkwo, Bright Emmanuel and Adesuwa Osabuohoien will answer at the centre court of the Package B of the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja, today.

Already, the centre court has been decorated to suit the occasion, which will see the cream of Nigeria’s tennis on hand to witness the epic battles.
The battle for the men’s crown is between giant killer and tournament five seed, Emmanuel Michael and wildcard entrant, Prosper Okonkwo. That would come after the women’s singles war featuring hard fighting number six seed, Bright Emmanuel and Adesuwa Osabuohoien, another wildcard entrant, dismissed number four seeded-Blessing Omotayo in the semifinals yesterday.

This year’s championship will witness the emergence of new champions as today’s gladiators accounted for the scalps of the defending champions earlier in the competition.
