Stakeholders seek investment for African beauty industry

Stakeholders in the beauty industry have stressed the need for business financing, financial technology and supply chains to navigate the sector.


This was at the fourth edition of Traction’s business and networking forum themed “Beauty Biz Roundtable: Unlocking Growth in the Beauty Sector” held in Lagos.

Traction, a growth partner for Small and Medium-sized enterprises (SME) collaborated with Oriki, a beauty and wellness company on the project.

Co-founder, Traction Dolapo Adejuyigbe, said: “The beauty and lifestyle sector is a fast-growing one and Traction is happy to be one of the platforms supporting that growth.”

Founder, Oriki Group, Joycee Awosika, said: “Over the years, I have realised the need for more conversations and initiatives that focus on creating growth systems for existing and upcoming entrepreneurs within the beauty and lifestyle sector.”
