Street2Forbes campus tour targets 200,000 varsity students across Africa

An official member of the Forbes Coaches Council, Dr Akin Akinpelu, has announced the commencement of the anticipated “Street to Forbes” campus tour.


Akinpelu who is also the author of the award-winning, “7 Star Teacher Book,” disclosed this, yesterday, during a media briefing in Lagos, saying that the tour is set out to impact 200,000 university students across Africa.

The initiative, driven by Akinpelu’s commitment to empowering African youths, is said to ignite their potential and equip them for success.

The tour, which is scheduled to officially kick off on April 13, 2024, will visit 10 prominent Nigerian universities and four African institutions.

Akinpelu, spearheading the journey, expressed his dedication to inspiring and equipping African youths to achieve their full potential.

He said: “The “Street to Forbes” campus tour’s core goal is to empower, encourage, and inspire African children to reach their full potential. I set out on this adventure with a single goal in mind: to kindle in each participant a spark of ambition and resiliency. I do this with passionate dedication and a firm confidence in the limitless potential of African children.”


He stressed that the tour serves as a powerful call to action, saying that it promises to equip participants with the necessary tools, knowledge, and mindset to overcome hurdles and seize opportunities with unwavering determination.

Akinpelu, while leveraging his experience as a Forbes Coach Council member and a catalyst for positive change, pledged to provide mentorship, guidance, and unwavering support to every student group encountered during the tour.

According to him, alongside a distinguished team of successful business owners, entrepreneurs, and visionaries, he is committed to fostering an environment conducive to growth, learning, and self-discovery.

Meanwhile, Head of Partnership at Erudio Hub Academy, Zainab Yusuf, said: “One of the aims is to transform education and we can’t do that without measuring the youths. We can’t do that without mentioning stakeholders in this sector.”
