The above statement came to manifestation in my life as God delivered me from 45 years of drinking alcohol to a fault. I would drink and forget myself. Sometimes, I would fall into gutter, miss the way to my house. People knew me everywhere as a drunk

My elder brother who joined The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries and by God’s grace became a Pastor in the ministry. In his effort to help me stop drinking alcohol, he took me to the ministers’ conference in Lagos, where the General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen preached.

However, before I went to the conference, I bought a bottle to tombo bitters, and kept it in the house so that I would drink as soon as I returned. In that meeting, the General Overseer prayed and cancelled drunkenness in my life. When I returned from the conference, I added water to the tombo bitters and drank. To my greatest surprise, it caused me stomach upset that lasted for three weeks. I had to treat myself for the stomach problem. It was after this sickness that I stopped drinking alcohol. Praise the Lord!

In another development, God healed me of swollen legs after Pastor’s prayers at the same ministers’ conference. I had swollen legs and as Pastor prayed, it became healed within three weeks, under normal circumstances such sickness would take six months to heal if relevant medication is applied, but mine was uprooted within weeks. This is, indeed, divine intervention and I am grateful to God for all He has done in my life. May His name be glorified in Jesus’ name!
