Key into available local opportunities for economic breakthroughs, Adeboye enjoins Nigerians

The General Overseer, The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has called on Nigerians to be sensitive to opportunities that can take them out of the current doldrums and grasp them.

Speaking from RCCG Praying Mountain at Ifewara, Osun State, Adeboye who spoke on Divine Opportunities prayed for all stakeholders in the economy, self employed, entrepreneurs, job seekers, National Youth Service Corps members, oil companies, labour unions, professional bodies and associations to flourish. He said: “There are opportunities that come once and if you miss them, they may never be regained.”

Also speaking at the end of the service, the Special Assistant to the General Overseer (Administration), who also doubles as the Pastor-in-Charge of RCCG, Region1, Dele Balogun, said a lot of opportunities are available for the youths in the country, but they leave them to other nations to seek for greener pastures.

Lamenting the sufferings a lot of youth are facing abroad in the name of employment, he said many of the would have made it big in the country if they had been patient enough to tap into the various opportunities abound in the country.

“What Nigerians should do is to pray that God should open their eyes to see the many opportunities that are abound in the country. For example, during COVID-19, despite the challenge of the endemic, a lot of Nigerians tap into the opportunities that evolved and since then, they have been flourishing,” he said.

Noting that economic recession is not peculiar to Nigeria, Balogun urged governments at the three levels of governance to ameliorate the situations and make more youth to be engaged in vocations that would make them employers of labour, instead of job seekers.
