The General Overseer of the Christ Family Nation, Citadel Of His Glory Ministries (CFN), Prophet Solomon Oziegbe, will from Thursday, November 30 to December 3, 2023, reeive people from different parts of the globe to expereince a new level of God through Mount Zion 2023 progromme with theme, “Covenant Of Blessings.” In a chat with OMIKO AWA, the G.O. said the four-day programme holding at Adekoya Estate, Ogba, Ikeja, will not only impact on lives, but also the nation.
What is the importance of this programme to your church members and the nations as a whole?
The importance of this programme, Mount Zion 2023, is to proffer solutions to the spiritual decadence and attack of the devil on many lives and destinies. So many people are going through unbearable situations, pains, agony, tears, among others. With theme, Covenant Of Blessings, this global programme is highly needed at this point in time to proffer solutions to everyone in dare need of positive changes and also for things to change for good in all facets of life in the nation. Mount Zion is different from other programmes because it is a yearly global event of the global commission of the Christ Family Nation, Citadel of His Glory Ministries (CFN).
It is also a time of solemn assembly for four days, which we observe like a camp meeting. Multitude come to camp in His presence and pray. It is the same covenant backing CFN global commission that is also backing Mount Zion because it was birthed from the church’s global vision. Sons and Daughters of CFN will benefit greatly from Mount Zion 2023 because there will be the outpouring of the Covenant of Blessings, lives will encounter God’s power in an unexplainable dimension. The whole world needs to attend this programme because the Holy Spirit will be present to propel them to new levels in God’s presence, turn situations around for their good, prosper them and uplift their spirit, soul and body.
The programme will equally be broadcast live on our on-line platform for people in different parts of the world to benefit from it.
I would like to add here that the name of the church through the direction of the holy spirit was in 2022 changed from Christ Family International Christian Centre (CFICC) to its current name, Christ Family Nation, Citadel of His Glory Ministries (CFN). The Holy Spirit by revelation and encounter said to me: “I am building a great and global nation through this ministry,” and that, I should change the name to, “Christ Family Nation, Citadel of His Glory Ministries (CFN). Today, the new name is speaking as commanded by the Lord. The vision of Mount Zion is to build up army from all nations, people that will possess their possessions on earth, to project the goodness of God and the good message. Mount Zion aims at drawing multitude to experience God’s mighty power.
Why is the theme of Mount Zion 2023, Covenant Of Blessings?
The theme of Mount Zion 2023 is “Covenant Of Blessings.” The Holy Spirit gave us the theme because of His plan and purpose for His Church, Christ Family Nation Citadel of His Glory Ministries (CFN). The theme was taken from Genesis 17:4-8. The Lord made a great covenant with our father Abraham and established it to his children, granting him access to the blessings that we believers are enjoying today through Our Lord, Jesus Christ. The theme was birthed from the place of prayer via the voice of the Holy Spirit.
How did you come into ministry?
I came into ministry in the early 2000, doing evangelism and outreach programmes in different places. The God gave me the calling of an Apostolic mantle with prophetic oil and fire. I operate majorly in the apostolic office of the five-fold ministry. The world can attest to the manifestation of this great gift as a blessing to all human race and destinies on earth. I am called to preach, bring deliverance to captives, restoration and blessings to all mankind. I grew up serving the Lord under the global leadership of Pastor W.F. Kumuyi of the Deeper Life Bible Church. Thereafter, the Lord began to do His great work in my life and ministry, and I was connected to the ministry of Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners Chapel) and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Inc. The Lord told me to pattern my ministry and church, CFN, after the ministries of both fathers in faith mentioned above, to command divine speed, replication and accomplishments on time.
Is church still relevant in this age and time that corruption is the in-thing and all social instuitions are failing?
Yes, the church is very relevant in this age and time because Ephesian 3:10 says: “To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be made known by the Church the manifold wisdom of God.” The Church is to rescue the world from whatsoever that seems to be eating it up, even the institutions of learning. You can see moral decadence and occultism, to mention but a few striving, I believe the gospel of righteousness and holiness will quench the evil flames lighted by the evil forces controlling the systems and cultures in Nigeria. The Church will keep teaching and preaching messages of transformation and repentance. Also, the church is to fight corruption with passion and not allow corrupt leaders thrive by warning them of the harm and the dangers of what corruption has done to many lives and nations. The church has the biggest advisory role to play in Nigeria; first to pray for the country and the states to appoint leaders that have the fear of God and also to raise men with the passion to serve the people. This is why I encourage Christians with political grace to move into politics to effect a positive change. Our role in this as a church, Christ family Nation includes to render due benevolence in bringing joy and laughter to many lives via humanitarian aid to ease off suffering among the people. CFN is a global solution to all mankind.
It has been alleged that church leaders do not only encourage corrupt leaders, but use the pulpit to preach to members to obey these bad leaders. How true is this?
Members are to obey their leaders and those representing them in government, even though they are serving their personal interests and not that of the people. The role of any Christain is to pray for a radical change and also appoint leaders who are progressive in thought and action to represent them. The Bible says we should honour and obey those in authority, so, they can rule well with the fear of the Lord, bearing in mind that their righteous rule will amount to peace. progress and blessings.
Have you any advise for Nigerians on the economy and our leaders?
My advise on the economy is for Mr. President and his new cabinet to govern the country well. The issue of the removal of subsidies has brought about inflation of prices of goods and services. Let government revisit that decision and make Nigerians comfortable and happy. The church is not affected by the economy because the body of Christ runs a heavenly economy where there no lack or want and it is to be a blessing to humanity.
My prophetic word for Nigeria is that the purpose of God will not fail, Nigeria will arise and become a great nation like the strong nations of the west. There will be instant turnaround for good for this country and the people will rejoice again
