GOD’S Kingdom Society (GKS) —The Church of the Living God— has ended its Christian Feast of Tabernacles with a call on the government and people of the world to turn to God, obey His voice and worship Him in humility and fear in order to enjoy His peace, adding that perfect peace on earth can only be obtained when God’s Kingdom is fully established by His grace.

Brother Felix Ekundayo Adedokun, who made the call during his closing remarks at the eight-day programme of the church held last Sunday at the headquarters of the church in Salem City, Warri, Delta State.

He charged the people of the world to worship only Jehovah the Almighty God, as He is the Supreme Power in the universe. Adedokun said efforts to attain peace on earth would be elusive as long as Satan is still alive and human beings revel in crime and lawless.

He said: “It is only when Satan the Devil, the author of confusion and evil, has been destroyed by God through His Son Jesus Christ that mankind will enjoy God’s peace.”

Adedokun, who is the President of the Society, stated that Satan, the arch-enemy of God and man, has been feeding people with the false notion that he is the one, who ought to be worshipped, adding that Satan is responsible for the practice of spiritism, sorcery, divination, enchantment, witchcraft, necromancy, unnatural sexual practices, among others.

“Through these means he makes the people believe the big lie that when they pay homage to him, they shall not die,” Adedokun said. The eight-day programme featured 16 spiritually enlightening sermons, Christian Women Assembly presentations, Children’s assembly, street processions, blessing of children, musical performances by various choral groups and choirs, as well as special thanksgiving and prayers to God.
