TAAG Angola increases Lagos-Luanda flight capacity

TAAG Angola Airlines’ passengers will now benefit from improved availability and flexibility, as the carrier begins daily frequencies between Lagos and Luanda, in Angola.


The route erstwhile operated five weekly frequencies, operated by Boeing 737-700 aircraft, with 120-passenger total capacity (102 in economy class and 12 in business class).

The airline noted that a positive impact on trade and people mobility between Angola and Nigeria is expected, while Luanda is reinforcing its status as an important hub for regional and international connections powered by TAAG Angola Airlines.

Recently, TAAG Angola Airlines has been upgrading the network, leveraging the connectivity to regional routes: São Tomé Island, Windhoek (Namibia), Pointe-Noire (Republic of Congo), and Maputo (Mozambique).
