8.4m African children were not immunised in 2021, say UNICEF, WHO

A total of 8.4 million children in the African region, compared with 18 million globally, were left out by immunisation services in 2021, according to new estimates by United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) and World Health Organisation (WHO).
