Lagos government says Awo’s statue an artwork, not photograph

The Lagos State Government yesterday clarified the ongoing insinuations and diverse interpretations given to the recently unveiled new Awolowo statue claiming that “It is a piece of artwork expressing the Artist’s impression of the late Sage and not a photograph.’’
