How states’ non-domestication of building insurance law fuels deaths, investment losses

For 22 years, the Compulsory Building Insurance Law has been in existence. Still, its uptake by developers, contractors, and house owners has been extremely poor, just as only two of the country's 36 states have domesticated the law.
