Fagbemi confirms recovery of $110m stolen assets

Two rights groups, the Centre Against Injustice and Domestic Violence (CAIDOV) and Advocate for Social Justice and Defence of Rule of Law, have called on the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Lateef Fagbemi, to allow the judiciary to decide the criminal trial of two foreign oil companies, Trafigura Beheer BV and Trafigura PTE Limited.

The President, Committee for the Defence of Human Rights, Debo Adeniran, and the Lagos State Coordinator of the Child protection Network, Mrs, Aderonke Oyelakin have called on Lagos State government and local councils to sensitise and educate the citizens on the laws on child rights, domestic and gender based violence to check incidents of child, domestic and gender based abuses.
