Foundation tasks FGon compulsory sickle cell genotype testing for newly born babies
A Nigerian=American critical care and pulmonary care physician and Co-founder of CMG Global Foundation, Atlanta, the United States, Dr. Ngozika Orjioke, has called on the Federal Government to enact a law that makes sickle cell genotype testing mandatory in newborns for early detection and better management of sickle cell disease in Nigeria.
