Yusuf’s victory rekindles feisty politics, intrigues of Kano emirates 

It was a revival of a near-dead horse at the Supreme Court on January 12, 2024, when the five-member panel of Justices led by Justice John Okoro, dismissed the concurrent judgments of the Kano election petition tribunal and Court of Appeal that earlier sacked Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf as winner of the March 18, 2023 governorship poll in the state.
