Senate committee rebukes NNPC, rejects ₦210trn financial claims

The Senate Committee on Public Accounts has criticised the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) for failing to appear at a scheduled hearing to explain discrepancies in its financial statements for the period 2017–2023. The absence of the company’s
