NIMASA enforces global pollution rules on ships operating in Nigerian waters

The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has directed all vessels operating within the country’s territorial waters to ensure strict compliance with the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) Annex VI, which aims to prevent air pollution from ships.
